Paushtik Breakfast Roll- Veg
Ingredients
Filling
- 2 cup full Tofu
- 1 cup Green peas (par-boiled)
- 1 medium Onion ,chopped
- 2 medium Tomato, chopped
- ¼ cup Capsicum, chopped
- 2 Green chili, finely chopped
- 2 tsp Ginger- garlic paste
- 2 tbsp Coriander leaves, chopped
- 1 tbsp Mint leaves, chopped
- ¾ tsp Haldi powder
- ½ tsp or to taste Chili powder
- 1 tsp Dhania-jeera powder
- 2-3 tsp Pav-Bhaji masala or garam masala powder-1 teaspoon
- Tomato ketchup- to taste (optional)
- 2 tbsp Oil
- Salt- to taste
Instructions
- Heat oil in a deep pan, add the chopped onions and saute till golden brown
- Add the ginger-garlic paste, saute for a while, add the chopped tomatoes and the dry spices fry till the tomatoes turn pulpy
- Add the crumbled tofu and par-boiled green peas, cover and simmer for a few minutes
- Mix in the chopped green-chili, capsicum, coriander and mint leave
- Add salt to taste, squeeze some lime and mix well
- Use the filling to make “Missi roti roll”
To Assemble the Roll
- Keep the missi-roti on a plate, place sufficient amount of the filling towards the end of the roti, spreading it well to both ends
- Roll the missi-roti with the filling inside firmly and secure with a tooth-pick, you may add some tomato ketchup inside the roll if you desire
- Serve with beverage of your choice

- 1 cup Green peas (par-boiled)

- 2 medium Tomato, chopped
- ¼ cup Capsicum, chopped

- 2 tbsp Coriander leaves, chopped
